1. What Information Do We Collect

Personal information you provide to us

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when you express interest in our products and Services, request quotes or availability checks, place an order through us, participate in our referral program, or otherwise contact us. Depending on your interactions with us, this may include:

  • Name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Service and mailing address
  • Date of birth
  • Contact preferences

Credit check and advance payment information

Some internet service providers require a credit check or an advance payment before activating service. When that applies to an order you ask us to place, we collect the information the provider requires — which may include your Social Security number or other government identifier, date of birth, and debit or credit card number — solely to transmit it to the provider so your order can be processed.

We do not retain this information. Payment card and government identifier data collected for provider credit checks or advance payments is transmitted to the applicable provider and is not stored in our systems after the order is submitted. We maintain PCI DSS certification and handle payment card data in accordance with PCI DSS requirements.

Voice signature and consent

In some cases, we may collect your voice signature to confirm your consent for submitting an internet service order on your behalf. Your voice recording will only be treated as valid consent if you voluntarily record and confirm the required message as prompted. Your voice signature is stored in encrypted form, accessible only to trained, authorized personnel, and is used solely to verify your consent in connection with your order — never for marketing, sales, or unrelated purposes. Submitting a voice signature is optional and serves as an alternative to confirming your order by phone. To access, review, or request deletion of your voice signature, contact us at security@easyconnect.co from the email address associated with your order.

Call recording, monitoring, and AI-assisted tools

Calls with our sales and support team may be recorded or monitored for quality assurance, training, compliance, and to document your consent to orders placed on your behalf. Where required by law, you will be notified at the start of a call that it may be recorded. Some interactions — such as after-hours calls or email responses — may be handled or assisted by automated or artificial intelligence tools. Where required by law, we will disclose when you are interacting with an automated system, and you may request to speak with a human representative.

Referral program information

If we offer a referral or promotional program and you choose to participate, we collect the information needed to administer it — which may include your contact and reward payment information, the name and contact information of anyone you refer, and, where rewards meet applicable IRS reporting thresholds, taxpayer information (such as a Form W-9) as required by law. By submitting a referral, you represent that you have the other person’s permission to share their contact information with us. Referred individuals may opt out of communications from us at any time.

Information automatically collected

We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the Services. This information does not reveal your specific identity but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, general location, and information about how and when you use our Services. This information is primarily needed to maintain the security and operation of our Services, for advertising measurement, and for our internal analytics and reporting. Like many businesses, we collect information through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies.

  • Log and usage data: service-related, diagnostic, usage, and performance information our servers automatically collect, such as IP address, device information, browser type, pages viewed, searches, and actions taken within the Services.
  • Device data: information about the computer, phone, or other device you use, such as IP address, device identifiers, browser type, hardware model, internet service provider or mobile carrier, and operating system.

Information collected through Facebook Lead Ads

If you submit your information through one of our Facebook (Meta) Lead Ads, we receive the information you enter in the lead form — typically your name, phone number, email address, and address. We do not access your Facebook friends, check-ins, likes, or other profile content. Meta’s handling of your information is governed by Meta’s own privacy policy.

2. How Do We Process Your Information

We process your personal information for a variety of reasons, depending on how you interact with our Services, including:

  • To deliver the Services: to check internet service availability at your address, compare provider offers, and answer your questions.
  • To place orders on your behalf: to submit your order, and any required credit check or advance payment information, to the internet service provider you select.
  • To communicate with you: to respond to inquiries, provide order status updates, and send marketing communications consistent with your consent and applicable law.
  • To administer the referral program: to track referrals, issue rewards, and comply with tax reporting obligations.
  • For advertising and analytics: to measure and improve our advertising and website performance.
  • For security and fraud prevention: to protect our Services, our customers, and our business.
  • To comply with our legal obligations: to respond to legal requests and to exercise, establish, or defend our legal rights.

Lead certification and consent records

When you submit your information through a form on our website, we capture a record certifying your submission and the consent you provided. This record may include the date and time of your submission, the page and form you used, the consent language displayed to you, the information you entered, and technical details such as your IP address and device information. We retain these records to document your consent to be contacted and to comply with telemarketing and consumer protection laws.

3. When and With Whom Do We Share Your Personal Information

We may share your personal information in the following situations and with the following categories of third parties:

  • Internet service providers: when you ask us to place an order, we share the information the provider requires — including, where applicable, credit check or advance payment information — with that provider. Once shared, the provider’s own privacy policy governs its use of your information.
  • Service providers: vendors who perform services on our behalf under written contracts that restrict their use of your information, including telephony and messaging providers, cloud hosting and infrastructure providers, contact-data validation services, analytics providers, and reward payment processors for our referral program.
  • Advertising partners: we share certain identifiers and internet activity information with advertising platforms such as Meta and Google to measure and improve our advertising. See Section 5 for your opt-out rights.
  • Business transfers: in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business.
  • Legal obligations: where required to comply with law, legal process, or enforceable governmental requests, or to protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property.

4. Do We Use Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies

Yes. We use cookies, pixels, and similar tracking technologies (such as the Meta pixel and Google tags) to operate our website, remember your preferences, and measure advertising performance. You can set your browser to remove or reject cookies, though this may affect certain features of our Services. To opt out of interest-based advertising, visit http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or use the opt-out methods described in Section 5.

5. Advertising Disclosures and Your Opt-Out Rights

We do not sell your personal information for money. However, some state privacy laws define "sale" and "sharing" broadly to include making personal information available to advertising platforms for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising. Under those definitions, our use of advertising pixels and measurement tools — which involves sharing identifiers and internet activity information with advertising partners — may be considered "selling" or "sharing" personal information.

You have the right to opt out of this activity. You can do so by:

  • Enabling a recognized universal opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control (GPC), in your browser — we honor these signals where required by law; or
  • Emailing us at security@easyconnect.co.

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

6. How Long Do We Keep Your Information

We keep your personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting, or other legal requirements). Payment card and government identifier information collected for provider credit checks or advance payments is not retained after transmission to the provider. When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will delete or anonymize it, or, if that is not possible (for example, because it is stored in backup archives), we will securely store it and isolate it from further processing until deletion is possible.

7. How Do We Keep Your Information Safe

We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the personal information we process, and we maintain PCI DSS certification for our handling of payment card data. However, no electronic transmission over the internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise that unauthorized third parties will never defeat our security. Transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk, and you should only access the Services within a secure environment.

8. Do We Collect Information From Minors

We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18. If you become aware of any data we may have collected from children under 18, please contact us at security@easyconnect.co.

9. Do-Not-Track and Opt-Out Preference Signals

We honor recognized universal opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control (GPC), as an opt-out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information where required by applicable state law. Because no uniform standard has been adopted for legacy browser Do-Not-Track ("DNT") signals, we do not respond to DNT signals other than recognized opt-out preference signals.

10. U.S. State Privacy Rights

Comprehensive consumer privacy laws in a number of U.S. states — including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia — provide their residents with rights regarding personal information. Depending on your state of residence, these rights may include:

  • The right to know whether we are processing your personal information and to access it;
  • The right to correct inaccuracies in your personal information;
  • The right to request deletion of your personal information;
  • The right to obtain a portable copy of the personal information you provided to us;
  • The right to opt out of targeted advertising, the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, and certain profiling; and
  • The right to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information.

How to exercise your rights

You may exercise these rights by emailing us at security@easyconnect.co or by writing to us at the address in Section 13. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

Verification

We will need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request by matching information you provide against information we already maintain. We will only use information provided in your request for verification, security, and fraud-prevention purposes. If you use an authorized agent, we may require proof that the agent is validly authorized to act on your behalf.

Response timing and appeals

We will respond to verifiable requests without undue delay and within the time required by your state’s law (generally 45 days, extendable once where permitted). If we decline to act on your request, we will explain why, and you may appeal our decision by emailing security@easyconnect.co with "Privacy Appeal" in the subject line. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state attorney general.

California "Shine the Light"

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents to request, once a year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) disclosed to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

Notice of Financial Incentive (referral program)

If we offer a referral or promotional program that provides a reward in exchange for personal information, the program-specific terms published at the time will describe the reward, how to opt in, and how to withdraw.
